Tip of the Week

Be careful who you get help from. Everyone knows that working with a small or no staff is hard, but you could make your situation worse by accepting help from those who mean well, but do not have the proper skills to be of value. I’m not talking about people who can’t be trained, I’m talking about people who have no skills in the area were they offer to help. For example, don’t let your brother do your company taxes if he’s terrible in math. You will only cause yourself more frustration cleaning up a mess that someone else made. Sometimes it’s better to just do it yourself until you can afford to hire the right people.
